If you are getting any error that indicates an error during “order submittal” for our broker integration which says:
Error submitting order for ‘AAPL (or your symbol name)’: This order may result in an oversold/overbought position in your account. Please check your position quantity and/or open orders.
That means you should login first to your broker’s platform. And go to Order Status there to look at all open orders. You may already have some sell open orders or trailing stop orders that you had previously placed. Those must be cancelled first, in order for us to then place the new SmartStops value as the stop order trigger value. As we can’t exceed the number of shares to be sold that you may hold.
